Window and Door Restoration:
- From full restoration to simple tune-ups and weatherization
- Full restoration includes removing all paint and glazing back to the wood before repairing, re-glazing, and re-finishing
- Repairs consist of wooden Dutchmen or full part replacement, with epoxy used only to fill small voids
- Re-fit sashes are re-installed with appropriate weather stripping
- Hardware is cleaned up and restored to working order
- Salvaged glass or restoration glass is used to replace broken or modern glass where specified
- Jambs and sills are repaired while the sashes are being restored
- Broken or missing interior stops and parting beads are repaired or reproduced
- Excess paint build-up removed from the frames for smooth working windows and doors that fit appropriately for a tight seal
- Lead and asbestos safe work practices followed on-site and in our shop
- EPA RRP and Vermont EMP certified
